“I personally love the Thalmor. From Skyrim’s point of view, they are deliberately portrayed as the ‘bad guys’, but I believe if you saw it from the side of the Summerset Isle, the Empire would be viewed quite differently as well. Simply depends where you sit on the fence.”
actually
the thalmor want to literally unmake all of humanity and make it so that humanity never even happened or could happen
they believe the way the gods created humanity permanently tarred the mer with mortality and the mortal realm
not wanting to hate all altmer because the thalmor are racist genocidal arrogant assholes is reasonables because not all altmer agree with the thalmor and some of them even directly oppose them
I wish he’d been killed in battle and Rikke replaced him. She’s respectful and intelligent.
what would you do if you knew your promising young recruit you’re sending to prove that Anuriel has ties to the Thieves’ Guild is the master of the Thieves’ Guild?
“I think the Nightingale Armour is the coolest and most beautiful looking armour in the game.”
AGREED
“I wish there was a more detailed history on the Falmer. I’m hoping the Elder Scrolls series eventually makes a prequel of sorts and includes Snow Elves and their struggle with the Dwemer. Maybe then we can see how they would be as a civilzation if they never fell.”
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE
the elder scrolls wikia can only satisfy me so much
“After I finished the Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood, Companions and Main Quests I started to wonder where my Nord’s soul will eventually end up in the after life. I’d made promises to the gods, sometimes to save dear friends, and eventually I’d have to pay. Would Hircine claim me for his hunting grounds as a werewolf, would I be guarding the Twilight Sepulcher as a nightingale, or would I actually make it back to Sovngarde as the dragonblooded Dovahkiin who saved Skyrim from Alduin?”
“I made it my duty to go around killing Thalmor and when I was looting one, I found an assassination note on him. Turns out, I am wanted by the Thalmor and am actually quite flattered by it.”
I… will do this.
